Inspired by London, especially by persons we've seen there, Mods & Polkadots is about feelings we had during our trips there. A lot of feelings and memories merges here in those creations mostly through outfits and lanscapes or more imperceptibly through ambiances we like to (re)create...

Paintings have been made at different periods; even if some have been made as a serie on purpose, many of them have been gathered a long time after they've been created, with actually more similarities than we could have expected! Beyond the theme, which deals with (re)creating ambiances through what has been said before, it clearly emphasizes how unconcious has something to do into creation.

In certain cases, no reference to London was planned, so the influence of the metropolis, his(her) persons, its history and all that it inspires us, has been allowed suspect only in the course of time evoking more what connects us to it.
