Divanopka !

 

The most aristocratic face of the fashion industry is adding some seriously enticing stuff to the huge amount of wonderful work she did so far. I remember her as one of the most striking "Russian Ladies" of Vogue Paris last year, I remember her playing a gorgeous ingénue besides Bette Franke in another issue of the French mag, I remember her backstage picsand her bittersweet smile. I never forgot the strength of any picture of Snejana.

 

Though, I was missing her, missing all those great editorials she was able to give her "midas touch". Seriously missing her as she was rather rare on runways as well. But times are changing quicker than moods and Snejana seems to be back on tracks. Right now. Vogue Nippon's editorial gave me goose-bumps and made me forget that Iselin Steiro had an editorial in the same mag. Yes, Iselin Steiro, one of those models it's really hard to take my eyes off. Then she's in the newest V, but I'm still waiting. I'm always waiting for V but this time it's harder. The concept of Inez and Vinoodh is perfectly striking, and Snejana is at her climax in it (ditto about Sasha Pivovarova). Then this Vogue Paris issue (spectacular issue with 4 editorials I'm not ready to forget). If you love her you'd better save money right now...

Snejana Onopka est sublime,a une prestance follement charmante, mais sa propension à verser dans l'extreme maigreur est franchement inquiétante . . .
