TMSRRE part 9: Selina

We had high hopes for Selina before the shows in NY and these high hopes turned into a very selective line-up of bookings from Ralph Lauren's tuxedo to Lacoste's sporty and colorful outfit, from Yeohlee's all-white, all-light to Rad Hourani's total black look. In a few words: the epitome of the girls we wanted to feature when we started our TMSRRE series. No need for some beyond extended show list, no need to do them all, just a consistant, sometimes original line-up to put in their books. Many of the most wanted girls of this season started this way in f/w 08-09 and we believe their appeal finds a part of its roots in the unexpected coherence of a significative number of selective runways in their lists. To add to Selina's are also Adam, Nanette Lepore, Twinkle and - even more interesting - Philosophy. When you put them all together it's looks fresh, light-hearted and rock-solid in the same time. As we've just been updated with some brand new pictures by James Mahon, we thought her profile would be as complete as it should be and screams (or whispers?): ready for more.
