Blue dresses too look so good on her

Adama Diallo @ Elite (Paris), Elite (Milan), Trump (NY) We bought it a bit late. Maybe next issue won't be too long to come. After thinking of it several times, we finally took a copy of Stiletto for various reasons. Including Adama by Jan Welters. We've been watching her career from the start and already bought a couple of magazines where she's been featured in. We remember her in Biba by Benoit Peverelli in a story all about YSL and French Revue de Modes by Philippe Chanet. The latter was at her early... [Lire la suite]

All we know and all we don't (and all we don't want to know)

Addison GillInge De JongJaqueline CampeauJackline PrimPolina Moroz We know. We know the contest is over. We know the name of the winner. We don't know everything, though. We don't know when we'll see more of Addison, when we'll see her next batch of tests or her Supreme polas. We don't know what's going to happen with the five other girls. We don't know, we haven't asked. And we don't want to know it now. It's time to enjoy. To be delighted to see Addison won and have a closer look at the other contenstants. Here are five of... Second skins, first class skills

Ragnhild Jevne @ IMG (Paris) Third time here for Ragnhild. First one was just after the shows, she walked for Manish Arora among others. The girl from Team Models in Oslo didn't only do runway in Paris, she's also starting to gather some editorials in her book. Perfect timing. New opportunity to write on her after our feature with polaroids. She's in this month's Muteen in France, shot by Vincent Ferrane (see the preview above) and in Marie Claire Italia by Elina Kechicheva. Two different moods she worked out brilliantly. Is... Meet Annely !

Annely Bouma @ Ulla Models (Amsterdam) While others are relaxing on the beach or visiting museums during their summer holidays, we were... visiting model agencies' websites. Not that different actually. Quite relaxing. Checking everything we usually have no time to check or not in depth. Our eyes were caught by Annely. Sure, it often happens we're totally captivated by red-haired or strawberry-blond beauties and, as she clearly belongs to the latters, it didn't took long before we added her among our favorites. Remarkable... [Lire la suite]

Four and five

Siri Tollerod @ Joy (Milan), Trump (NY) Second girl from Joy Milan to get a story in one of our favorite magazines. Siri. Another Siri maybe and still the Siri we love, maybe closer to our vision of Siri. Siri Siri Siri. We're not the only to think there is really a lot of unexplored potential, unveiled emotions, things that haven't been seen on glossy paper while they are obvious in backstage. Here you go, follow Hans Feurer in latest issue of Muse. Cuteness and flowers are still there, still sweet and Siri probably won't get rid... [Lire la suite]

Meet Irina !

Irina Tkacheva @ Nathalie (Paris) It's clear on it. Who she is and what does she look like. 5'10 just in case we need to translate anything. Otherwise no need for any translation, potential is universal. It reminds us on how words are often so important to describe feelings. How odd it is sometimes to put words on something that really doens't take any when it's just running through your head. Words. Names. Irina ? Seen and heard. Already. Her face, her looks ? So fresh, so new. Hasn't been seen or done before. She caught our... [Lire la suite]

It's simply written Toni Garnn

Toni Garrn @ Modelwerk (Hamburg), Joy (Milan), Women (NY), Storm (London), Women (Paris) We went to Germany last week across the wind and snow. Dark morning, bright finds. Among them was most recent issue of Tush, featuring Iris Strubegger on the cover, Maxine Schiff and... Toni Garrn. The first thing we do each time we open a Tush is search for the editorial where make-up artist Yasmin Heinz worked with. Very often it happens to be the story shot by Felix Lammers and it happened again. The team is back and the... [Lire la suite]

Meet Sienna !

Sienna @ Select Verve (London) Ginger bangs, blue dress, black tights and black boots. Here comes Sienna. Last feature of the day, Redhead Issue as bedtime story. 5'10 inspiring bedtime story. Actually she's rather the kind of new faces that wake us up. Maybe that's what we need. Just a kick and back on tracks. Who knows. No doubt on only one thing: she's the most striking newcomer to hit our inbox today. With the mention "brand new". If it's always a pleasure to review the recent highlights of our all-time favorites,... [Lire la suite]

Blue Lipstick Westminster Mouse

Anabela @ IMG (Paris), IMG (NY), IMG (London), IMG (Milan) We'll probably never forget the first time we saw her walk. Was in Paris a few seasons ago. Rue du Mail. The girl who looked quite shy on AL Models pictures turned out to have such a unique elegance on the runway. And beyond the runway. Editorials in Vogue Italia, Vogue Nippon (unfogettable by Alasdair McLellan) or Self Service won't deny, without forgetting one of her very first editorials in Numéro. These times were also the beginnings of this page in its daily... [Lire la suite]

Steamy ice

Valeria Dmitrienko @ Women (NY) We thought it was big time for an update on Valeria. She was our second featured girl of the season after walking a few shows in NY. First striking thing: if she didn't book too many shows, she only booked selective ones. Remarkable. Even more remarkable is the way she kept the high level till the end of fashion weeks. Such a suitable ending called Givenchy. From NY to Milan then Paris via Narciso Rodriguez, L'Wren Scott, Costello Tagliapetra, Salvatore Ferragamo or Zucca, all we love to see is... [Lire la suite]
