Meet Nastya !

Monday morning. Same coffee in the same bright orange plastic mug. Back on tracks with a topic we've been brewing all day yesterday, Nastya. Image Discovery's latest discovery is slightly atypic for various reasons. First of all, maybe because she's got some typical Eastern European features - cat's eyes and feline expressions, flawless skin and so on. Same old story ? Not really, not only at least. There is some potential in this girl that joyfully crosses geographical boundaries. Like this innate sense of poses, that love story with the camera from the first digital session on.
The reason why it took us so long to write such a little piece on Nastya (5'9"5 - 177) is mostly likely due to the strange atmosphere and styling of her pictures. How to handle that unusual way to present polaroids, supposed to be as neutral as regular. Nothing but the girl should catch the attention on those and it actually does despite of these quirky prints on her outfit, quirky fabric on her second outfit etc. Nastya's got enough power to outshine everything around and on her. Does the words "her face screams potential" ring a bell to you ?

Meet Katerina !

Fresh, fresh, fresh. And even fresher than fresh, Katerina, 15-years-old is just beginning and has that über-fresh look of the girls just starting at the minute. But don't get fooled by it to easily, there is already that unique ability to express emotions, from serious to ethereal to laid-back moods, on her first tests from Bohemia Model Management. The camera loves her and that's often the first requirement to fulfil to start a career as a model. Add to this a naturally modelesque silhouette and a height of no less than 5'10 (178 85-61-90). Worth to watch and worth to keep in mind, this early bird is almost ready to fly.

Meet Charlotte !

We promised you yesterday evening that you'll wake up here with new faces. As promised, here is Charlotte. Coffee has never smelled as good as in a bright fluo orange plastic-glass and you can feel the mood getting lighter in the offices. Who else than a flawless 5'10"5 young lady can warm up the atmosphere on a cold Tuesday morning in November ? If you've got another answer than Charlotte, we beg you to send it (her?) to us by mail.
We heard about some fantastic newbies at Modelwerk when we were in Paris last month. Wasn't hard to believe as many from our favorite Germans are from the model factory in Hamburg (think Theresa Genth, Isabelle Sauers or more recently Siri Laude and Tamina). Girls that anyone abroad would pray to sign with his agency. Charlotte's kind, exactly: soft and sweet with a strong gaze that immediately pops up on pictures. Even on polas. Expressive eyes that look straight at the camera, leaving no time to escape from their magic. Too new to say anything as her agency told us ? Seems that we've already written a lot. That's what happens when someone sends us inspiring new faces.

Meet Iris !

Delicate yet strong features often mean much intensity in poses and expressions. At least that well-known formula works perfectly for Iris, one of the newest girls to join 77 Models in the Netherlands. Her deep green eyes gave her this endless gaze that caught our eyes on her first tests, her dreamy look and subtle body language allow us to raise our hopes slightly higher again. With a height of 5'11 (180) and great proportions, Iris shouldn't take too long to make her first steps abroad, as soon as her development stage is completed at home, working on her skills and getting more experience.

The unusual shape of her face strikes from every single angle and if some of you might not be so fond of her jawline, we just adore it. Raw even in refiniment, intense in the gaze she gave to the camera for her digital session at Nisch Management, her mother agency from Stockholm, and baring a totally unexplored and quite endless potential: Betty counts among these girls we don't see too often in months. Not to say years. Either fierce or dreamy, sensitive-looking whatever happens, she can also rely on her 5'11 (180) height and leggy silhouette to find her way.

Melina arrives only a few times after introducing Olga Rozhok and it definitely seems that Art-Podium is strengthening its scouting and development tools these days. Unforgettable beauties that are slightly out of the beaten tracks and quickly capturing the attention of international good eyes, probably for that same reason. Fashion definitely needs new looks, new vibes to create new sensations through less known and less explored aesthetics. And that's exactly what a girl like Melina can bring today, when the same old debate reaches Milan again, not without reasons sometimes/somehow. We've just have one answer to give to this, maybe it will sound too simple for some of you but modeling isn't about one type of beauty over hundreds of others. It's about a certain height, a certain kind of silhouette and then it's up to each to promote interesting faces that stand out from the crowd. Unique looks. And who else than a girl like Melinda embodies this vision today ? She's 5'11"5 (181 88-60-89), she's got gorgeous and expressive brown eyes and is about to start within a famous network.

Labeled as a rather shy young lady, Magdelana might belong to that kind who suddenly transforms in front of the camera and turns shyness into grace. Delicate features, sophistication, sensitive expressions and the whole portrait starts to shine. Magdelana (another of SPP's discoveries) is no less than 5'10"5 (179) and with her modeling-friendly silhouette and face, she's already been able to capture some attention from abroad. Deep brown eyes and a true talent despite/thanks to her shyness. Sometimes you'd rather explore the uneasiest way to find your own path. Might be Magdalena's case - cheer up and let's go.

Meet Lotte !

Clock is on and after a short break (one hour) we're back again, with a new face this time. Fourteen only (fifteen soon) and 5'11 (180) already, redhead and red hot, the second Lotte from BM Model Management in The Netherlands was the perfect one for this evening next to Daiane, Lindsey, Ursula and Marike. Looks you don't see everyday and you don't forget easily. At this age and this stage in one's career we can only call it natural or innate talent to pose and express emotions in front of the camera, especially when the excercise itself is simply called "taking digitals". Her blue eyes seem to help her a lot and so does body language which looks quite striking for someone without extended experience of modeling. Cute for sure and gently wild, with the leggy silhouette that will always be able to catch some attention. Captivating and commanding, she's now casting her spell on us and one day casting directors will spell her name as well.

Between two worlds and two atmosphere, we took a short break at tea time. We worked hard until late at night and thought our next update had to wait a little before outdating the five posts from yesterday, starting with a fresh face from the Netherlands. Lotte Keijser comes from Dutch boutique BM Model Management and starts with a youthful look (14-years-old) but already a true talent for poses/expressions. It's called born to model and agencies that have a chance to work with girls like that usually know how lucky they are. Lotte scores at 5'9 (176 82-60-91) and counts among these naturally beautiful models that need one sec to catch attention. Countdown, we're sold.

Sleek beauties in a row ? Maybe and we guess some of you will miss more daring looks but the afternoon is long and we're already slowly shifting to some tougher yet still sophisticated. Best newbie to stand at the crossroad ? Egle Puodziute, freshly signed at Supermodels in Lithuania. She might be another of these girls with classic features, she's got a little twist to balance it: gorgeous curly hair. And playful poses as you might have noticed on Natalie Berezina's tests (first six pics). The warm shade of venetian blond also creates an overall impression of harmony and her tall 6'0 silhouette (182 83-60-90) contrasts with her youthful, doll-like expressions. A touch of quiet subtlety before the big bang at the shows ?
