Crocodile-colored-leopard-printed rough diamond

Anna Heaton @ First (London) Green is usually for crocodiles. Not leopards. But Anna isn't usual. She could even be your unusual kid in town this week in London. She's subtle and everything is silent around her, even if her beauty is screaming, and shouting. And shocking. The shock of the new, a fresh wind is blowing and the sun is burning through the windows. Find more pictures and a little review on Anna on Lexposure.net we did just before running to bed yesterday evening and keep her in mind. For this... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 12: Edythe

Edythe Hughes @ Elite (NY), Models1 (London), Why Not (Milan), Ford (Paris) If we were already glad to see her walking in New York, we're even more delighted by her first steps in London this season. She booked a handful of decent shows like Dennis Basso, Tory Burch, Threeasfour and especially Prabal Gurung more worth for the high quality of their casting than their actual coverage worldwide. No eye-catching name in the list, just a good exposure among a wide range of great girls. London sees it differently, it seems. She... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 11: Anna

Anna De Rijk @ Viva (London) Last december we had a sudden peak of love for Anna brought by some awesome memories of her from backstage at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and an editorial by Jonathan Leder published in A4. Now she's giving a complete image of what her potential looks like walking for the best designers in London. With a list including Topshop Unique, Armand Basi One, Margaret Howell and Ann-Sofie Back, no one can deny British catwalks love her. And we just hope it won't stop her (at least it seems London... Milan is calling: Paula's polas

Paula Kuls @ d'management (Milan) She just arrived in Milan, her two feet on the ground at d'management and her new polaroids already shot. We've been following her career since the first snaps we saw at her mother agency Place in Hamburg. Of this raw potential of her early days she hasn't lost anything. But she has definitely learnt how to handle it for the best, adding a touch of subtlety in the way she poses or gazes at the camera, using this uncanny intensity on purpose now which leaves us... Never thought the 80's could be so subtle and refined

Kinga @ First (London) We don't really know why but there is something in her face which reminds us of the eighties. Our childhood, actually. Maybe our first aesthetic visions, our first experiences of beauty. Maybe just some random good memories gathered into a glimpse or a glance without the glitter and glam people usually link to this era. No exaggeratedly aggressive outfit or hairdo, just a light touch of make-up highlighting a slightly melancholic gaze. Probably what reminds us of the eighties. Still don't know why but... She's definitely there

Masha Tyelna @ Storm (London) Welcome back on the runways, Masha! The title of the editorial above says she's barely there but she's definitely in London today with her feet on the catwalk. She just walked for Kinder Aggugini, wearing an enormous oversized hat and surrounded by flowers. The atmosphere was completely different compared to her story by Polish wonder Marcin Tyszka in current Tatler. Princess of sand, wandering in a gorgeous no man's land between light sandy colors and textures and a blue... [Lire la suite]

From bright orange to black and white

Kristina Almanova @ Marilyn (NY) There is a little lack of big names in her show list but it doesn't really matter. It's one thing to write a review on Calvin Klein's exclusives and we couldn't have missed the opportunity with their casting of the season including Lyndsey Scott or Bojana Reljic, two girls we've been following step by step. It's a totally other thing to make a proper review of what or who really caught our eyes. New York castings always require a lot of investigation and analysis, even more this time. An... Photomaton with Aluna

Aluna @ Sergey Nagorny (Belarus), IMG (Paris) London has begun but we already have our head in Paris. Well, we'll talk about London and even a bit of New York a bit later today. Wanted to start this saturday morning with a coffee, banana-flavoured chocolate bars and a photomaton with one of these fantastic and freshly signed at IMG Paris. Here you go. Nagorny's next pearl in town is called Aluna, is a stunner without make-up on her digitals and her poses are divine. Naturally multi-tasked beauty that can also rely on her... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 10: Ines

Ines Crnokrak @ One (NY) Here we are, TMSRRE girl number ten and the last days of New York shows. Last featured girl for this fashion week ? Last before the ones from London ? Who knows. Who knows if we won't wake up again in the middle of the night to add a number eleven still based on her NY results. Who knows ? Nobody knows. Like nobody knew Ines would be there. Requested. Wanted. Especially for Marc Jacobs show. It makes two times in a row and makes us believe it's no wonder, she could be '"another kind of... [Lire la suite]

An iron career and a heart of gold

Angelika Kocheva @ Marilyn (NY), Marilyn (Paris), Why Not (Milan), Select (London) Season after season and no matter in which town, Angelika has printed her own make on the catwalks. And in magazines too. Big favorite of Mixte (latest issue is out today but no Kocheva inside), she's now in current Wallpaper by Alix Malka. Just in time to echo her performances on New York runways like United Bamboo (most logical choice plus she opened AND closed), Erin Fetherston (precious and prestigious), DKNY (classy), Lela Rose...
