Meet Alena !

Alena @ Stardom Management Take a look at the unique shape of her eyes. This 5'11 girl caught our eyes for this. For the unique expression the two can bring to her pictures, such a dramatic presence on tests and maybe even more on polas. And that's the best part maybe, the best of the best. When you see she's able to give hundred percent of that amazing potential on all her snaps. No proper styling, just the raw digitals. Meet the real Alena. Meet the real deal. Here she comes as she is. Just striking. We're just thinking of... [Lire la suite]

Meet Stella !

Stella Maxwell @ Viva (Paris), Viva (London) She arrived in Paris with only a few digitals, one test and got her hair done there before getting new digis and more tests for her book. New look for a new book. Seems all her story is similar to this small part of it. If you check her passport you would never guess where she's born neither you could imagine where she actually leaves now. We're not going to tell you details but we love how she throws a handful of mystery over that look - full of energy. We obviously have a thing... [Lire la suite]

Cornucopia

Ksenia Gorban @ Uno (Barcelona) Cornucopia could be a good name for her editorial book. Ksenia adds another new story this month, from Vanidad by Sergi Pons. Another spanish delight to strengthen her profile which has already seriously improved since she started working with Uno Barcelona - remember our recent post on her story from Glamour. Yes, that one based on fairy tales. Moving from one place to the other this afternoon, we've been re-reading a couple of stories from the Grimm brothers. Getting in the right mood for... Meet Melissa !

Melissa @ Fresh Model Management (The Netherlands) Melissa caught our eyes a few weeks ago and we've been told to wait a little. Until all her tests are out and available. Was worth waiting, her newest tests are even more powerful than all we've seen before. More sensitive as well, more relevant. More Melissa in any possible way, showing she's not only another striking 5'10 girl. She can impress, she can express. She does it all and it takes only six pics to show it right. Direct to the point, with that good mood she... [Lire la suite]

Jaw-dropping name-dropping

Elena Lomkova @ Major (Paris), Why Not (Milan), Premier (London), Trump (NY) Call her Lena or Elena. It doesn't really change anything to her potential. It all depends on where you are. On which side of the Channel or which side of the ocean. We called her Elena this time as her last editorial went out in France. Citizen K by Gregory Derkenne. Just in time. We're getting more and more excited about anything on her as it seems she's simply blossoming these days. Looking better than ever. And making it more obvious than ever... [Lire la suite]

Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow

Angelika Kocheva @ Marilyn (NY), Marilyn (Paris), Why Not (Milan) Angelika is busy on both fronts. Runways and editorials. Pre-fall collections and current moods. First in Flair by Eric Traoré then in L'Officiel Paris by Jonathan De Villiers, she adds strong pieces to her portfolio and gets more exposure than ever in magazines. Same goes for her walk at both Chanel and Calvin Klein, Paris then NY. Angelika's appeal finds such a remarkable echo these days. Worldwide. Not bad for a girl who has to rely on a look we'd... Complementary colors

Geovana Piveta @ Monica Monteiro (Brazil) She's a blend of the most extreme features, the best of contrasts. A round, doll-like and youthful face mixed to these endless limbs of that 5'10 silhouette. Also that obviously and openly melancholic expression she has on most pictures which is exactly what caught our attention when we saw her first. Discovering she's perfectly fitting any silhouette standards with such an uncommon, unconventional face is pure marvel. Another highlight might be how she works out... [Lire la suite]

Meet Merel !

Merel @ Models In Company (The Netherlands) The lovely ones. It's hard to tell what makes them so lovely. It's easy to feel, though. Maybe it's the moles or the cute ears, the expressions that belong to nobody else than her. Maybe. Writing on this page is like throwing thousands of letters saying maybe all day long. And all night long. The only thing we're sure when we start writing is why we do it. There's absolutely no formula, no secret behind the choices. It's all about feelings. So, what are our feelings towards Merel ?... [Lire la suite]

Three dots making the world go round

Anna De Rijk @ Paparazzi (Amsterdam), Women (Milan), Viva (Paris), Viva (London), DNA (NY) We will never forget her from backstage almost one year ago. Was during Couture fashion week in Paris, Ecole des Beaux-Arts. The show was Gardem and it was quite a great opportunity to meet with new girls that have been blossoming step by step since that moment. In Anna's case it spells Elle US earlier this year and right now A4 shot by Jonathan Leder. We're still waiting for it to be release here but the preview is simply... [Lire la suite]

Citizen Ornella, part two

Ornella Loginova @ Major (Paris), Avant (Russia), Why Not (Milan) We promised you a second part, here it is. Also shot by Gregory Derkenne, Ornella's other editorial for Citizen K puts more emphasis on her poses, less on funny faces. Though, it seems she's using the same sense of humor to embody this other character. Like in a modern version of a silent movie or an expressionist painting. Like any well-done modern version, she's bringing a new vision to something we used to see before. The most old-school vibe can often hide... [Lire la suite]
