Fashion does it Better

Leave Us Kids Alone

Trilce @ Uno (Spain) Obstacles. Not even talking about fences as usually most of us, if we dare to say us, raise our own fences then live in a small imaginary space made by ourselves that we almost never leave. But today's topic is obstacles that naturally stands on our way(s) and we have to go through, remove or in worst cases avoid, the latter being the less interesting option since we never learn from them this way. The thing is when you see obstacles you already found out you crossed your own mental fences to... [Lire la suite]

Winning Back The Crown

Anne Sophie Monrad @ Modelwerk (Germany) Did the indie vibe already fade away and got old before maturing? Or was it a well-performed answer from the good-old factories proving in four days their ability to strike back as fast as lightnings? A lack of energy on one side or a new era starting on the other? All we see is that experience works only with wisdom and attacking back on the map needs power to fuel this kind of fire. We're not going to comment more than these abstract lines on Berlin Fashion Week... [Lire la suite]

Marleen @ Fresh Rosanne @ Bloom Ronja @ Future Faces Mirte Maas @ Women It was a dirty dream come true ! That may ring a bell to some of  you. Not a regular feature though, as we are just celebrating the meeting of the amazing gang of our Fucked Up friends and our beloved Dutch photographer Yorick Nube for a  straight- forward exchange. Let's embrace the electric FUC mood and spread the love, the sun means a lot to him.  (...)FUC: What’s the most fucked-up experience you had during one of your... [Lire la suite]

Unexplored Territories

Meagan @ Zodiac Management (USA) The lack of updates on our main page these days could be easily explained but we believe a touch of mystery doesn't hurt here. So, our little come back starts with a young lady (and the words were carefully chosen for a fan of french queen Marie Antoinette) from Florida, coming from a new boutique mother agency: Zodiac Management. These are the pure facts besides the pictures, now let's have a look at who is behind the visuals and how they managed to enhance the concept,... [Lire la suite]

Cosmic Green

Natalia @ ML Studio (Poland) New day, new week, new energy and so on. And new face to start with. Natalia counts among the recent newcomers at ML Studio, the boutique from Szczecin in Poland and her first materials already bear the distinctive mark of the agency. Fresh and youthful yet far from being too green (except the eyes), Natalia can also rely on her 5'10"5 height (179 80-59-87) to make a rather durable impression where she will fly next. Special beauty type combining retro vibes with contemporary look... [Lire la suite]

Take The Chance, For a Brand New Wild Romance

Lindsey Wixson @ Marilyn (NY) and Nimue Smit @ Women (NY) Mulberry's aesthetic and Tim Walker's visual world are a perfect match and it almost goes without saying. But not without seeing and the new ad campaign didn't fail to catch our attention, featuring Lindsey Wixson and Nimue Smit. It's all light-hearted, full of pastel pink yet radiating true romanticism or in other words: behind the pretty aspect you should find a certain kind of intensity you don't necessarily expect from such pictures. Whether you... [Lire la suite]

That's The Way The Story Goes

Klaudia @ Wonder Models (Poland) Second post on a total newcomer this year, switching from Czech Republic to Poland, from dark bangs to light red hair and here comes Klaudia, latest model (almost 5'9 high now) to join the Polish boutique Wonder Models. If you might have to wait a little bit before seeing more of the ginger youngster, a little intro with her best pictures so far certainly does not hurt and we picked three that should give a proper overview of what her recent development looks like. Everything is a... [Lire la suite]

Face To Face

Her name screamed French and we weren't mistaken: Louise is Born in Paris. But she lives in Barcelona now where she keeps her studies going along her modeling career and other passion: skating. Got Uno's package before holidays and thought it would be our final post of the year. Could be Remix #3 then if we had written it in advance but didn't do and waited till now to drop a few lines on the girls who caught our attention. The intriguing ones. Russy was born in China, in Qing Tian where most of Chinese people living in... [Lire la suite]

K1 Models opened their doors in June 2010 with a clear idea in mind when it comes to models development and management. And scouting as well, since the Prague based agency is organising scouting trips in other countries around including rather unexplored areas such as Bosnia. A real vision always helps to create a distinctive image and innovative way to consider a model's career. Such as Radana, our first featured girl from K1 Models, 5'10 (178) with quite a specific face to say the least. More on the agency and the girl very... [Lire la suite]

A Wind of Change

Arizona Muse @ Next Was like two years ago... wait, was exactly two years ago. When we first noticed Arizona Muse, as new face from Next NY. Blonde with brows, right at the tiny border between high fashion and high end commercial. Tiny that didn't look that tiny back then but got thinner and thinner since. It might be one of the reasons behind Arizona's recent breakthrough (think Prada and Yves Saint Laurent campaigns plus Vogue Italia's most recent cover). Might be but not only, we firmly believe the model herself stands behind that... [Lire la suite]
