Fashion does it Better

Val @ AM Model Management (Germany) We introduced Val a few weeks ago with some gorgeous digitals of hers (right, the girl with the striped top) and promised you a second part with more materials to shed some light on her actual modeling skills. Here we go, Friday afternoon and the weekend coming soon (even if this morning had everything of a Monday morning). Val, 5'9 from Germany, with Russian roots and a geniune love for skateboarding, don't know if we mentioned that before.       Clearly not the random... [Lire la suite]

SuperCasting at SuperModels

It's going to be one of the biggest casting event in Europe this year, it's going to take place at the end of this week. On Sunday, 16th of May, Supermodels Model Management will hold a huge casting in Vilnius with no less than (or more or less) 200 girls attending the event to be seen by several international scouts and representative of foreign agencies. We had experiences of open castings gathering hundreds of girls but this one will only show girls carefully selected by the mother agency which makes it a totally different... [Lire la suite]

Summer Hit

Johanna Kneppers, Claudia Seiler and Lys Inger @ d'management (Milan) We don't know if we should say it again as we can almost write it every month but Amica did it again. Could be our motto or the current status of FDIB's facebook page. But let's stay on topic and stick to the story itself, three girls from d'management shot by Massimo Pamparana for the newest issue of Amica. Italian magazine, italian photographer, italian agency and a very international casting that includes Johanna... [Lire la suite]

That Mood

Alicia Kuczman @ One (NY) We might be in this exact mood today. Were just saying how Chloe Dole "dares to express" when she works with a photographer and Alicia Kuczman is exactly that kind of expressive models that got attention for bringing her own mood along her looks (remember that short story we did on Alicia loves to move). After great debuts in New York walking for Marc Jacobs and ending her season solely walking for Miu Miu in Paris, Alicia immediately branded herself as a precious girl you won't see at random... She's got the Look

Valerie Van Der Graaf @ SPS (The Netherlands) We could write exactly the same as we did for Maaike, what haven't we said on Valerie that you'd need to know. Well, what you might be interested in right now is her brand new TopShop materials (make-up campaign), just released last week. For everything else, it's the same good old love for her look and modeling work. We didn't add her to the Muses section of the page for no reason and best is that we actually didn't wake up one day with that idea. She... [Lire la suite]

The Supreme Series, Part Three: Amanda

Amanda Norgaard @ Supreme (NY) First part was dedicated to Chanel Iman, second one to Ieva Laguna and a bonus feature on Chrishell Stubbs was the icing on the cake of last week. As fresh materials kept pouring on our inbox and our interest in Supreme's current evolution hasn't stopped growing since last Thursday, here comes Amanda Norgaard. Another look, another profile and career pattern. And, of course, another story. There would be much to say on her versatility, provided she seems in her element with the new... [Lire la suite]

Maaike Klaasen @ SPS (The Netherlands) Is there anything about Maaike we didn't write ? Don't think so, but there might be some pictures you haven't seen yet and these ones just picture her the right way. From serene to spooky, from playful to gently crazy, the palette of expressions she pulls out is subtle and precious. Shot recently by Gilbert François (check out the feature we dedicated to him and his work) in his very own style, this short black and white story focuses on what can be considered as Maaike's essence... Fake Break, Hard Work

Chrishell Stubbs @ Supreme (NY) Let's take a short fake break from our Supreme Series, shall we. And keep our creative review of the day with another brilliant photographer's work we've just discovered as Supreme sent us the most recent pictures of their unique and talented Chrishell Stubbs (featured for the first time on FDIB a little while ago and she quickly became a full-time favorite). Shot by Maria Postigo (please, have a look at her portfolio as it's definitely worth the virtual trip)... [Lire la suite]

The Supreme Series, Part Two: Ieva

Ieva Laguna @ Supreme (NY) Let's talk about mutual benefits or perfect match, Ieva Laguna is definitely the most natural addition to Supreme's new lineup both for her sleek features and the range of jobs she's used to. Getting a nice response on the editorial market, gathering a nice amount of campaigns already with more stuff on its way, the latvian beauty (from Joy Star System, Riga) made her marks with flawless seasons that actually translates into further results. 5'10 and probably a good example of... The Two Lives of Kinga J.

Kinga Jozefiak @ ML Studio (Poland) Dropped a few words two days ago on our "work in progress". Just a short preview, hiding the essential to keep the surprise alive but enough to point our finger on how subtle and delicate her character is. Kinga Jozefiak, new face at ML Studio, Szczecin (Poland). The freshest pictures we got are unveiling her beauty a little more without totally getting rid of this aura of mystery. Actually, we don't know if possible to get rid of it as this is most likely one of the main... [Lire la suite]
