Takes Time/Hard to Find

      Ludmilla Dom Perignon @ d'management (Milan) Some models just get a little more precious every season and we wouldn't be totally wrong if we put Ludmilla Dom Perignon in this category. We first noticed her a little while ago, six test shots and a lot of mystery around her name and looks. Discovered by MNGS and launched by Silent Models in Paris, Ludmilla made her first steps on the runway a coupld of seasons ago then only appeared at a limited number of carefully selected shows. Last one in time was Giambattista... [Lire la suite]

// Parallel Lines //

Abbey Lee Kershaw @ Next, cover by Richard Prince styled by Tamara Rothstein. Bottom left you can see a little scar on the magazine that travelled a lot before arriving at home here. Got POP in hands, finally found it in town. It took a while till it arrived at our local bookstore but it's here, big and beautiful. Our copy suffered a little from travelling to our half-godforsaken city but it's still amazing to have it, smell it, read it, look at it over and over again. A magazine really becomes a magazine the day you can touch ... [Lire la suite]

Such Golden Rules

    Tsanna Latouche @ Premier (London) The golden opportunity! A few weeks ago, Premier sent us Tsanna's book asking if we were interesting. Sure we were but needed to wait till the first pieces made in London were out, something that would make sense like a new tests/fresh polas combo. Here we go as Jessie Craig shot with Tsanna and fell in love, unstoppable when it came to describe her beauty and praise her potential. Still some secrets hidden for her, according to our friend photographer and you beg you to read and weigh... [Lire la suite]

In the Mood for the Shoot

    Milena Hajzler @ Eastern (Poland) Pretty exhausted tonight as we've been waiting on our three current projects, maybe one more to come soon and all equally exciting. Exhausting yet exciting, keeps the mood good. Especially when the news of the day are actually lovely and stylish polaroids of one of our favorites from Eastern Models, Warsaw. Who we want to see, how we want to see her. Relaxing and refreshing.    Efforts an agency puts to introduce and promote models are what we're strongly focusing on lately... [Lire la suite]

So Strange are the Ways of Love

          Anastasiia @ FM (London) Okay we told you to stay tuned for yesterday night and we left you waiting for 24 more hours. Not nice but worth the price, no ? As  we said in the first part, we simply love Andrea Carter-Bowman's work but these pieces might have a special sense to us. Like a tiny bit of a dream come true (for us and Anastasiia) and some good reasons to keep the hopes sky high. Our beloved Venya Brykalin had already explored some of her spookiest sides before she left to London but... [Lire la suite]

The Key, The Secret

      Kirby Kenny @ Viva (Paris, London), DNA (NY), Why Not (Milan) We included her in the first half of our last (ever) runway review as one of the five models that made their marks this season and at that time only New York and London results were available. Paris was finally the town that saw Kirby Kenny blossom on the very, very last days. Were keeping our fingers crossed to see her in person but the opportunity never happened. Schedule issues on both sides, we guess. And as the peak of her week took place at the... [Lire la suite]

Cold Coffee Story

    Naomi Preizler @ Next (Paris) You can go anywhere you want in Paris, during fashion weeks you're almost sure you'll always see a model. In the streets, the subways and that famous cafés with the name starting by S (nothing très parisien, just the ones you have everywhere else). Were just sitting there for a latte at the end of our trip when a fragile silhouette crossed the room. Platinum blond hair, elegant walk -- no doubt the young lady was a model. Naomi Preizler was the first name we had in mind and unless it was... [Lire la suite]

Undercover / On the Cover

  Marike Le Roux @ Wilhelmina (NY) The magazine is French and usually easy to get for us but, this time, got the tip from New York. Go figure, Paris might consider we are already Germany here. Or were we so overbooked we overlooked this ? No time for dilemmas and drama, let's just go to the point: Marike's cover and editorial on/in the new issue of Stiletto. Marike slightly hiding under her top hat but full force glowing on from the front page till the end of her story. Here is a little medley of the pages that gave us the good... [Lire la suite]

FDIB loves and bookmarks: AKA Nastya on A Carter Epic

    Anastasiia @ FM (London) Spotted this morning on one of our favorite London-based photographer's blog, our very own Anastasiia's digitals from the test shoot she had during her stay in town. Raw, untouched and wearing this now-so-famous grey tee-shirt she wore on her video before leaving home in February. Of course we love Andrea's work and blog but this time we totally loved and agreed with the few lines under the pictures. May these predictions come true soon, believing in them anyway. And stay wired for more on... [Lire la suite]

Introducing Ana (Extended Mix)

  Ana Gilca @ Mandarina (Romania) It usually takes us a few days after fashion week to get fully aware of its effects. What new ideas it brought, what has to be adjusted in our vision and our ways to process things. Every season comes with a different palette of feelings and sets new standards, not especially talking about aesthetic ones but standards in general. Where we have to put more emphasis, what should get more focus and what should get a little less. Perception of beauty evolves all the time even if some key ingredients... [Lire la suite]
