Model Talking: Our Picks, For the Season and Beyond (Part I)

Here comes september (everywhere comes september) and it was about time to take a pen again and put together a piece of pictures and paragraphs on the models we look at, we love to look at and would love not to stop looking at for the weeks to come and far beyond. Way too many names and as many beauty types has led us to divide this story in a few parts. Here comes september and with it golden leaves and showtime, here is the first chapter of our ''picks for the season'' starting with Amilna Estevao, already a favorite of FDIB for a... TMSRRE RELOADED

Dear potential readers, friends and foes (gotta get some more of the latter this round, or not, may be), passionarias and dilettantes, insomniacs and heavy sleepers, here is time for a revamped version of one of our favorite excercises: The Most Subjective Runway Review Ever (TMSRRE), as irrelevent and irreverent as we like it to be. Our favorites, those who can make our heart fail, some random crushes and the sweet surprises... And the opening slot finally went to Chiara Mazzoleni, not only because we wanted to have her in this... [Lire la suite]

Light My Dynamite

She's like a firecracker waiting for a matchstick, ready to ignite all night, captivating like no other yet completely blasé. The beauty who doesn't give a shit to her gorgeous features. Fashion is ruthless with pretty ladies but Damaris Goddrie is in a class of her own, not another good-looking classical shampoo-girl. Effortlessly raunchy from head to toe, with that random hairdo of hers, pouting like a grumpy baby, the carefree goddess turns us totally timber when she stands in front of Oliver Hadlee Pearch's camera, put in... Block me, Bust me

Once upon a time, lived a man who wanted to get out of his life, get rid of it, get out of his and this world(s) and knit his own cloud to look from above at the latest news from earth like a scientist looks at a procession of ants and a poet looks at his ten toes. Now, that very same guy would say: freak me out, take me out. If he's craving for an extra dose of late tenderness or for a full shoot of fireballs, I own no clue about it. But he feels some twisted kind of hunger, the kind that squeezes you from stomach to heart to... [Lire la suite]

Serendipity

Keep it easy, keep it going, nosy babies make noisy maybes. Smokey skies are the only ceiling nearby, and the grey blade of a sword is my sole shadow when I wander under the vanished sun. I hold my sins in my shivering arms, the same way others walk their soul around like their dog and smile. But that's no children's smiles, that's just white and bright, plain and empty, and I'm only looking for serendipity. We've crossed some angry oceans, escaped alive from caved in tunnels, talked bad to some mountains and kept sailing,... [Lire la suite]

In Sooth

Jump and bump and geese gotta run, if the ocean grows higher we all gonna sink, yeah. For the moment, let us keep our Stan Smith on the solid ground and listen to the music that tunes our eyes. Fashion flows on big rivers, too big for what they shiver, for. Let the song get strong, before it all gets wrong. Season, seasoning, reasons are duty-free, get your gift, get your poison, get it all before everything disappears away. Damaris Goddrie, a cat on the rooftop, swinging between the chimneys, swirling, whirling, waving a flag... [Lire la suite]
