I am She as You are She as You are Me and We are all Together
Alexandra & Caroline Clot @ Micha Models (The Netherlands)
Dutch agencies seem to reach another level again, always in the spotlights for months already and making headlines almost every single week on some models-focused websites. Tjarda launched Anniek who's waiting for her first editorial pieces that should be stunning, Models in Company found good homes abroad for their most fabulous newbies, Code keeps the level at Nimue's height and SPS is relentlessly developing their golden girlies worldwide. Now comes Micha with... [Lire la suite]04-08-09
Your Brown Eyes make it Real
Anja Krvina @ Ford (Paris)
We introduced her as cooler than the coolest and it seems this is right. And righter than the rightest. We're finally able to unveil her piece of work by Jessie Craig for Vanity Teen and the first word of the photographer were simply so close to ours and to Anja's agent at Ford Paris. Incredible personality, the one who'll became your friend while shooting. Energy, a lot of good energy. A breath of fresh air and no less. It's great to know you can rely on the model to give the right... [Lire la suite]17-07-09
Shining (Twice as bright as any other light)
Alexandra Clot and Caroline Clot @ Micha Models (The Netherlands), Ford (Paris)
So happy to see these three pictures arrive in an email this evening. Reminds us of Paris, last week. Our trip was definitely too short, not enough time to meet with everyone we had planned to. We only met one photographer and it was probably not enough at all. But we were so luck it was Jessie Craig and had a very good time for this model/photography breakfast on last wednesday morning. Nice time and nice talk, inspiring words. Including a few ones... [Lire la suite]09-06-09
Radiate and Never Fade Away
Victoria Sekrier @ Ford (Paris)
A model who deserves more attention. A girl who steadily adds interesting pieces to her portfolio, who worked and still works with great photographers, shooting great editorials and never fails to bring some emotions to every single picture she takes. She was remarkable this season with some precious appearances at a very select group of shows in London and Paris including Jean Paul Gaultier (definitely true to his tastes) and Ann Demeulemeester (call her a favorite). Latest piece on extra-large... [Lire la suite]07-06-09
C'est Moi qui l'ai Fait
Laragh McCann @ Ford (Paris)
Laragh McCann or the unique ability to be where you don't expect her. Laragh McCann or the delightful surprise everytime she appears somewhere. Laragh McCann and her face, her faces, her features. She's been there for seasons now and still manages to keep the mystery alive. And the mysterious appeal works, works well. When you think she's not there, she suddenly book Balenciaga in Paris. When you haven't seen her for months she's suddenly in a brand new editorial. Once again we didn't see this new... [Lire la suite]29-03-09
Bunny ears are such a serious topic
Laragh McCann @ Ford (Paris), Women (NY), Women (Milan)
Crash has officially entered our must-buy list
which could be describe as a small selection of magazines we can pick
eyes-closed at our bookshop. Models recently featured inside were
called Yana Karpova, Ragnhild Jevne or Masha Tyelna and we can add
Laragh to the team now. She's this kind of girl you don't know what to
expect from, apart from greatness. You can't tell where you'll see her
next, you can't tell in advance which show... [Lire la suite]23-03-09
TMSRRE part 26: Shaina
Shaina Danziger @ Ford (Paris)
To the famous and infamous question "who's your favorite face of the season?" we could answer Shaina as well. First time we saw her walking on Paris runways was at Estrella Archs. She was the only girl to hold her hands on her hips creating an immediate effect and the best walk of the show. Short hair, strong features and the most feminine dresses of the collection. Striking and subtle. It takes a great model and a wise casting decision to make such an unforgettable runway... [Lire la suite]28-02-09
TMSRRE part 17: Megan
Megan Butterworth @ Elite (NY), Why Not (Milan), Ford (Paris)
She was on her way to Milan when we received these digitals. She already caught the good eyes' attention in NY but finally makes her debuts today at Moschino plus has a showcard ready for Paris. Sounds like excellent and exciting news for Megan, described as ethereal with a beautiful... personality. We couldn't tell much about it as we only saw these pictures of her but attitude clearly shows up on them. Laid-back yet never too carefree, cool yet classy.... [Lire la suite]22-02-09
TMSRRE part 12: Edythe
Edythe Hughes @ Elite (NY), Models1 (London), Why Not (Milan), Ford (Paris)
If we were already glad to see her walking in New York, we're even more delighted by her first steps in London this season. She booked a handful of decent shows like Dennis Basso, Tory Burch, Threeasfour and especially Prabal Gurung more worth for the high quality of their casting than their actual coverage worldwide. No eye-catching name in the list, just a good exposure among a wide range of great girls. London sees it differently, it seems. She left the... [Lire la suite]
