Fashion does it Better

TMSRRE part 3: Regina

Regina Feoktistova @ Women (NY) Now or later ? Now ? Later ? Now ? Later ? Nowlaternowlaternowlaternowlater ? And in the end it's no later than today. It's always a little dilemma to tell when we should drop a few lines on our favorite girls of the season (or, in Regina's case, beyond seasons, shows and trends). Shall we wait until the week is over (3-4 more days, that's all) or shoot ASAP ? We thought to follow the first way but thought twice and checked out Alexander Wang's pictures again then the answer became obvious.... [Lire la suite]

Back to Babylon

Regina Feoktistova @ Women (NY) If we couldn't see the American flag in the background on the first picture, we could imagine this story was shot on any shore. In Deauville or any northern beach of Germany or The Netherlands. Who knows. Maybe an imaginary place we have been dreaming of forever. Maybe Regina makes a real place (Cedar Beach) turn into a dream. Who knows. We can't swear anything and no truth is ever granted about photography as soon as you have someone to watch it... Body language that leaves us speechless

Regina Feoktistova @ Women (NY) We've just featured her a few days ago with her editorial in current (and last) issue of Mixte. Regina is in NY now and with Women (by the way Giedre Dukauskaite too, just joined Women - makes quite an army of favorites now with Viktoriya, Ginta, Mina, Valeria...). Before her next batch of tests, before her new polas and after Mixte, comes a little bonus just arrived in our inbox this morning: Regina's tests by Maxim Repin who was actually behind her very first tests ever at the beginning of... You're the first, you're the last

Regina Feoktistova @ Nathalie (Paris) It's her first editorial since she joined Women NY (well, it has nothing to do with it as this new story was booked by Nathalie in Paris) and unfortunately it's the last time we see her in Mixte. It's the last issue of Mixte, one of the saddest magazine moment of this year. At least this 64th issue is gorgeous. Royal. Royal casting, royal contents, amazing team. We'll miss it and to be completely honest, we already miss it. The thrill of the first look, the smell of the paper and to know... [Lire la suite]

Inside and outside

Anastasija Kondratjeva @ Elite (Paris), Jourdan Dunn @ Nathalie (Paris) Kelli Lumi @ Major (Paris), Regina Feoktistova @ Nathalie (Paris) Sophie Srej @ IMG (Paris), Zuzana Gregorova @ Viva (Paris) A new season is going to start soon - for us, with Haute Couture in Paris and Berlin Fashion Week at the end of the months. NY shouldn't be late after then London, Milan and... Paris again. Makes us think time has come to feature a few girls we've seen last season there, taken by Jeremy K (jey47key). Time to refresh memories, make... [Lire la suite]

Blue jean, baby queen. Prettiest girl we've ever seen

Regina Feoktistova @ Marilyn (NY) Rock on. A part of Veronique Branquinho S/S 09 soundtrack was Rock On by David Essex. A part of the (excellent) casting, if not the very best one was Regina Feoktistova. Fitting the collection, fitting the song. The pictures of Regina walking with sunglasses and this old-fashioned melody will stay in our ears and in our eyes forever. Besides these memories, she's also one of the New Kids on the Block by Thierry Le Gouès in current French. Casual chic and her unforgettable moody face.... [Lire la suite]

Regina rules !

Regina Feoktistova @ Marilyn NY She was the cutest baby in the funny pink outfit at Alena Akhmadullina s/s 07. She has been one of our favorite since her beginning. She's now in NY, started her American trip with an editorial in US Elle allowing us to dream of some runway appearances. And she finally did it, she's there, she's walking. She's almost flying. You've seen her in Tuleh, Abaete and others, making her peaks of the week at Diane Von Furstenberg and DKNY. She can be dark and moody, or cute and girly, she's always exceeding... [Lire la suite]
