Cast Your Spell Over Us

Is that an apple or a flower? It's magic and she could really be an enchantress, a wizard at modeling. And the wizardry continues below as well, while you'll need no little yellow pill to feel dazzled. It takes more than a perfect face, it is more than your few nice days (at the top), it is more than we'll ever know – we mean beauty. We're aware we may have said it, told it, explained it, every possible way already but these are the words bubbling in our minds everytime our eyes fall in love (like for the very first time) with... Tu seras toujours Mon Léon

Yulia Leontieva @ Silent (Paris), Storm (London), Marilyn (NY), Why Not (Milan) Mags and musics, pages and pitches. That's the way the afternoon went away (already). Started by chance while buying that infamous salmon sandwich for lunch and turned into one of the biggest topic of the year so far. The Editorial Evening. Magazine galore at FDIB and Yulia Leontieva in Lula. Partly because of Yulia in Lula, actually. True to herself -- shy, playful, impish, flirtatious and all of them at the same moment, Yulia... Wildfire of the Vanities

Natalie Keyser @ Elite (NY), Storm (London) It took her a second to become one of our all-time favorite models but building a book takes much longer. Months, seasons, years soemtimes as a career needs to be handled step by step. It takes time, good surprises, good opportunities and good-looking tearsheets to build a portfolio which really gives a true overview of the girl's potential. And once again surprises, opportunities and tearsheets came from UK Elle. Once again, we fell in love with the new issue of the magazine and... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 14: Magdalena

Magdalena Fiolka @ Eastern (Poland), Storm (London), d'management (Milan), Ford (NY), Elite (Paris) After meeting her on a sunny day in Berlin last July and watching how things are going for her young career, we're glad to add her to our TMSRRE series this season. London was her highlight and she knew how to combine very different shows on the same booking-list. Take Veryta and Kinder Aggugini for example, difficult to find two shows that are as different as they are in their styling, clothing and overall mood.... [Lire la suite]

JFK and back

Stephanie Rad @ Storm (London) We had the six ones above waiting somewhere inside our computer, somewhere we weren't thinking of these days. Waiting for a better day and this better day is a night. Tonight. Stephanie Rad, the girl who works out giant wellies as easily as others run around in flipflops. She was the surprise-girl who even surprised the good eyes. The ones who know as much as the one who see and even the ones who see across the walls. The girl who could beat any fortuneteller at the game of "who's your... [Lire la suite]

Saturday is Lakshmi day

Lakshmi Menon @ Ford (NY), Nathalie (Paris), d'management (Milan), Storm (London) Went to our usual bookshop and found many marvels. But not Dazed & Confused. Went to the train station by chance and saw it by chance. Here she goes again by Josh Olins (styled by Nichola Formichetti), Lakshmi who's on the cover has her editorial.  Colorful backgrounds plus Lakshmi Menon’s beauty is a must see and too many pictures could have killed the thrill. It’s just so precious the way it is and both photographer Josh Olins and stylist... [Lire la suite]

The bottle of the genius was full of good wine getting better each season

Masha Tylena @ Storm (London) Instead of a top ten we have eight pictures of Masha from newest issue of Crash. We haven't seen her walking in the streets of the City of Lights but her editorial was one of the first thing we saw at the bookshop. A random glance and it stood out. Innocence but not only. Masha learnt how to blossom and let express the best of her potential. It took her a little while to give hundred percent of it in her editorial and we had to wait until the hype surrounding her went to down. Call it... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 18: Anya

Anya Kazakova @ Marilyn (NY), Marilyn (Paris), Storm (London), Why Not (Milan) Anya created such a well-deserved buzz last season when she appeared on the runway at Calvin Klein. She was no exclusive. She was so exclusive. She already walked many of the greatest shows all the week before and even opened the collection, wore three outfits. Then Rad  Hourani to close her first week ever and off to London. This season seems to be on the same good slope as she was back at Calvin and also walked Donna Karan, Max Azria, Phi... She's definitely there

Masha Tyelna @ Storm (London) Welcome back on the runways, Masha! The title of the editorial above says she's barely there but she's definitely in London today with her feet on the catwalk. She just walked for Kinder Aggugini, wearing an enormous oversized hat and surrounded by flowers. The atmosphere was completely different compared to her story by Polish wonder Marcin Tyszka in current Tatler. Princess of sand, wandering in a gorgeous no man's land between light sandy colors and textures and a blue... [Lire la suite]

Only with Masha (without her we would cry)

Masha Tyelna @ Storm (London) Here we go again with the missing part of her story in current issue of Elle UK. We introduced it a few times ago and the seven extra pictures are coming just in time with her showcard for London. Models history is funny sometimes as we featured Masha and Meghan exactly the same day. They're miles away from each other but once upon a time they were together on some H&M ad campaign, they were both the controversial newcomers bringing a fresh vibe on the fashion scene. It's not that... [Lire la suite]
