Karlie Kloss @ Next (NY), Next (Paris), Next (London)

She's like the weaver in november, blowing cold wind with the same might as warm wind and doing it the most unpredictable way. In every possible meaning. Our windy lady of the day was one of the recurring topics in our convos lately and only one thing was clear since the beginnings: she can't let us indifferent. Or maybe she's even unable to leave one indifferent. You might love her or not, you'll notice her. Not only for her sensational season where she embodied various characters going from Prada to Just Cavalli and from Christian Lacroix to Cacharel (and backed by the best of NY), playing with the moods like a child with his toys. It turns out to be even more striking in editorials. Our selected recent highlights might definitely be Life is a Beach from Vogue Nippon by Laurie Bartley, her picture by KT Auleta in i-D and her funny faces in previous issue of 10 (plus some Vogue Italia all over her career...). Recent cover of French and work with Terry Richardson for Vogue UK even spice up the line-up before her brand new cover and editorial by Cedric Buchet for 10 again (above). It happened a few times one of us or both weren't 100% convinced by Karlie's overall book. It even happened we said she's not our cup of tea. Though, it never happened there wasn't a "but I must admit" as the second part of the sentence. The irresistible drama of latest 10 finished to sold us to her. Delicately dramatic, irreversibly intense. She could be our cup of tea tonight. Like there's no tomorrow. Or tomorrow she might be one of our new classics. Klossic.
