The party started right

Yulia Kharlapanova @ Avant (Russia), Women (NY), Women (Paris), Women (Milan)
She's without the shadow of a doubt the girl that had the most incredible season in s/s 09 and trying to build a complete showlist here would be totally irrelevant. To name a few let's say she ended her week in Paris closing MiuMiu and used to set the pace in Milan the week before opening Jil Sander. Others include Lanvin, Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Christopher Kane, opened some our favorites like Wunderkind or Les Copains. The most moving appearance was at Jean-Paul Gaultier, unforgettable. After such a season you'll always find some sceptical or sulky people to say it's only runway not editorial. Though, in Yulia's case the answer came during Paris fashion week when she appeared in and on French Revue de Modes by Thierry Le Goues while she had a spot in Teen Vogue a bit earlier, just in time for NY shows. Not bad and useful to prevent from too much bad comments. She also in the newest Flair, giving out the best of herself in front of Kenneth Cappello's camera: jaws and brows plus her lovely mole plus classic meets androgyny plus timeless and effortless elegance. Rocking the lipstick, the hat, the curls. Rocking the party as the title of the ed is no other than Party Time. Seems her party started right.
