Goodbye broadcasts. Hello Ksenia!

Yes, Ksenia Gorban is definitely one of our new favorites. If new and favorite both make sense here. Who's really new and what's the difference between one favorite and the other. It's really hard to describe what sets a model in her own class. It's rather easy to feel who reached this status, though. And we can say this about Ksenia. We recently featured two editorials of hers from spanish Glamour and Vanidad as her work at Uno Barcelona really stands out and it was just after posting some polaroids from Major Milan. Now we have something booked in Paris, where she's signed with Nathalie. Might be a special one. Pictures are from the newest issue of Indie which we are lucky to find her from now on. Actually, the four above are meant to illustrate an article on Rad Hourani and as you may have noticed looking at them, Rad is also the photographer (styling by René Gloor). He explains why he thew away his TV eight years ago. It might sounds a little bit anecdotic to pay attention to the TV story as the article is much longer and very interesting from first to last word. It might be our personal experience with TV that played its role as we don't watch it and don't even own any. For quite a few years too. The most important to us is when he explained why he got rid of it - to have only his own pictures in his head. What happened to us is pretty similar yet goes exactly the other way round. We started to watch less TV as our heads seemed already full of pictures and ideas, always in motion and our minds were quickly becoming totally impermeable to any broadcast. Impossible to concentrate on something that was just supposed to be "swallowed" effortlessly by our eyes, our ears, our heads. An effortless thing that was asking for more efforts than we were able. Our minds switched to their own inner channel regardless of the movie or broadcast. We naturally stopped to turn on the TV and when shorty after we find it was broken, we never thought of replacing it. Books and magazines never give us the same feeling and we never get enough of them. It's probably due to the mechanisms behind. TV fills you up with its content while you fill yourself with a book or a magazine content, they never feed you up. You taste everything you read and enjoy every mouthful. Quite a good topic at this time of the year.

well at first I couldn't do it too it's not always obvious, the features are so similar
I think it's really about the feelings that came to me when looking at their various pictures... let's say I feel Irina more pensive and stoical, statuesque then... she reminds me of Anna Barsukova a lot for this !
Ksenia more impish, more like a little monkey hidden under an ice queen mask :D
