TMSRRE part 18: Egle

Times are hard and we are running... feeling strange - overwhelmed by the schedule, underwhelmed by the castings so far. Most of them. There was enough room for surprises but clearly no surprises is high enough to give us goosebumps. Nothing shocking enough to bring back the thrill we felt during many other seasons. Transition ? Might be. Could be. Should be. And we want it to be a sort of transition. When forces are moving, you can feel the motions yet never the directions they take. What's going to change ? Tough one. Agencies. Models. The whole game might adjust its own rule, the map may not remain the same. The cards are being shuffled again. Beware that yours don't fall off from the table.

Though, we shouldn't paint the whole portrait in black. Nor we should paint it all in white and start again from zero. Some great news here and there bring back some smiles, some little breakthrough and some girls are turning timeless these days. Paris darlings. You'll see more later this evening if we don't fall asleep before. You'll see it soon, anyway. Paris darling or internationally famous (she's five stars in four cities, after all but Paris loves her always more it seems, like French Elle above), Egle keeps the level sky high against times and trends, against newbies and comeback-kids. Flawless season so far in the City of Lights, same fierce gaze on the runway - again and again, without end. Same carefree attitude running from one show to the other. She doesn't have to look nice or sweet. It's not her character. Stay badass, that's how we love it. And how Balenciaga, Viktor & Rolf, Bruno Pieters and others like her. Without any single doubt.
