Long time we wanted to write a short story, a quick report on Julija. Inspiration was there, facts were obvious, pictures were gorgeous... so why did we hold this piece off until tonight. No clue. Maybe just a feeling, striving for the best moment after the season rush, after the hype calmed down as there isn't any touch of hype in these lines. Timeless models (in making) need more that just a few lines when the news are hot. Such a beauty deserved a true statement.

A rather classic beauty with rather classical features is the first thing that might come to anyone's mind after take a quick glimpse at her digitals. A true classic beauty with a geniune lithuanian touch, we'd better say (Egle, Edita, Giedre, Dovile, Auguste, Aida and Ieva all got it, don't they?). Soft, sleek, clean and clear features balanced by this wild little thing in her expressions - sometimes poised, sometimes almost fierce - and a lot of inspiration for anyone looking for models with staying power and subtlety.

What makes us think she's that kind ? An outstanding week in New York is enough to tell she already managed to cross a few borders many girls weren't able to cross lately. Booking both Calvin Klein and BCBG, Marc by Marc and Philosophy, and looking so great at Zac Posen. Milan came and despite a slightly lower number of shows, walking for Dolce & Gabbana added another card to her game and her editorial in october issue of Vogue Italia came right in time to strengthen it. So far, Julija's got a lucky hand and it simply makes her too hard to overlook.
