Kasia Wrobel @ Supreme (NY)

Some days you wake up and can't avoid the truth, the need to be honest with yourself. Facing reality or some kind of, bad sides and good sides and everything in between. The other morning the first word that crossed our minds was promises. Yeah, you promised me. How many times we heard about "promising new faces" or whatever that could describe bright future and high hopes. Hope should always be around when some agent (may he be mother agent or even the star of worldwide booking tables) is about to launch his newest model's career but is it really always our role, as a media for example, to put that much emphasis on things that are just hopes (facts and/or feelings should get a more important place). Prediction of the unpredictable quickly turns into speculation and if everything doesn't move as fast as expected the situation gets embarassing for everyone. And quite sad if you ask us, like when soap bubbles crash on the ground... light-hearted mood turning heavy.

Kasia Wrobel's bubble isn't about to crash, though and keep moving up as the recent turn in her career seems to tell us. We know we should never take anything for granted on that side but have a sort of admiration for the "flat curve" that her career has been until now. No peak, no downfall, just a slow and steady rise to some better-looking heights. Each step was quite fascinating as all happened in such a soft manner, no rush and no hype, just the careful morph of a teenager into a beautiful young woman who appears to work out her role as a model with this natural twist that often makes the difference. Not going to write the next chapter before it happens. No promises this time, just Kasia and bubbles in our minds.

I remember Kasia from a few years ago when she was with Next. She certainly has grown from awkwardly beautiful like many young models into a graceful beauty :)
