Gaslight nights, randomly dressed and surviving with pizzas, beers and whatever sweet stuff, loud live music all evening long, twisted mornings  looking for parts of ourselves we might have forgotten next to some pieces of art in the other room. Was our life these last few days, was our daily nightlife (!) next to administrative duties lasting till dusk. New week, cold Monday, sound went away for a while and things are supposed to be back to normal. Supposedly, because nothing seems normal anymore or we're just starting to notice normal life is a plain illusion. Melinda's new polaroids are no illusion and might be the only part of familiar reality right now, neither completely a blast from the past nor a real glimpse into our near future. Just the moment, just now, right now as said just above. Introduced a while ago after we received her first materials from Milano, she became Ice's breaking star since then and the true icon of their Squared board, making her early marks in fashion when she opened Ann Demeulemeester's Fall 2010 show last Spring. Now, take this peculiar coolness and sent it straight to London and see what you get from the mix. Let's shake it and let's shiver. Melinda joined Premier and first thing to capture our attention is the way she translates her very own style into her agency's very particular polaroid-language. We love the simplicity and honesty of this aesthetic, how it does not emphasize on some gimmicky feature (think teeth, symptomatic of our times) to let express Melinda's unique beauty in its most quintessential way.

Oh, Melinda, nice to see her here :) as far as I know she's also at DNA NYC and Nathalie Paris. I hoped she does better on catwalk SS11 but,well, apparently it's in front of her ;)
