Madeleine Berrevoets @ IMG (NY)

When Jonathan Leder sent us his latest work with Madeleine two weeks ago we thought the canadian whispers were true, there was something about Madeleine, something going on right now. As always you only realise it with pictures, when what you see is what you get. In an atmosphere made of hopes and hoaxes, you sometimes need a few visual thrills to wake up.
We could have called this little piece Mad about Madeleine. It would have sound too easy but true and honest nonetheless. Madeleine in New York was big news, huge news. After all the epic pictures we've seen in the past, all the great memories and moments, we started raising our expectations for her return in town. Is it a come-back, a brand-new start or just the right moment in her career ? Does it really matter ? She's simply glowing (and blossoming in an unexpected way), we should stay focused on this aspect.
We've just featured a very young girl one hour ago, she's living her first minutes as a model and now comes Madeleine with already some unforgettable pages in her portfolio. It might be a sign that careers aren't linear (anymore).
It's a good sign for potential, it basically means potential is all what matters. Let's just expect and wait for Madeleine's next pieces and have a look at her portfolio at IMG New York to see more (or refresh our memories).
