Fashion does it Better

'Cause You Are Young

Liza Schwab @ Ulla Models (The Netherlands) First tries are sometimes the most interesting and exciting moments as first times can be. That's one of the most appealing part of this video, either a first time for model Liza Schwab and photographer Pim van Offeren who just went from stills to motion while keeping the emotion alive. Liza is a young sprout from Ulla Models in Amsterdam, 5'10 tall and building her book at the moment. According to Pim's recent experience working with her, she's as cute as can be but can change mood in a... [Lire la suite]

No Face, No Name, No Twitter

Marloes Horst @ Joy (Milan), Next (NY, Paris, London), Ulla (The Netherlands) After ten days spent under another sky (or let's better say under other skies), first things we saw while turning on our good-old and delightfully slow computer are some brand new covers. December issues. Holidays pre-taste (and pretexts) or new year/new vibe concepts are making a few waves around us. Or in front of us, right in our eyes. Right in the target ? We guess not. We won't have to spend too much lines explaining that we... [Lire la suite]

Memorable Milestones

Simone @ Ulla (The Netherlands) Have you ever met Simone ? Maybe last February when it was big time to meet Simone here. Maybe somewhere else in between but there are big chances that you've never seen Simone like this before. You might have seen her polas, her first steps and a little bit of development. Now watch her morph into other characters, exploring the less easier ways, the unexpected paths out of the beaten tracks. We were just talking about Jasmin's work in sleek black and white enhanced by some... [Lire la suite]

Wanted: Vivian

Vivian @ Ulla (The Netherlands) We saw her pictures by Yorick Nube and thought she was one of the girls to keep in mind at Ulla Models, Amsterdam, at the moment. A true classic beauty who seems to have a lot to tell and the piece of her portfolio we picked for this post was the most thrilling she has so far. A "talkative" picture that says a lot about her potential while her agency is building up a whole new book for her. We love the freckles, we love the poised expression, the freshness. Vivian is 16 and 5'9 (176),... [Lire la suite]

Meet Noah !

Noah @ Ulla (The Netherlands) She's one of these girls who can do it all and it shows. Clearly. An amazing blend of tests by Gilbert François and Yorick Nube is the very best way to be aware of this, mixing some precious underwear shots to more ethereal ones featuring her silky, warm brown (or dark blond) locks. Signed with Premier in London, 17 and 174, we're pretty sure she can rely on that all-round potential to get various kind of jobs and enjoy an unusual kind of career. Girls like Edita Vilkeviciute or Martha Streck... [Lire la suite]

Who's Next ?

Catheline @ Next (London)Nicola Haffmans @ Next (London) They are among our latest picks as Lexposed Faces and are among the most intriguing and exciting newcomers at Next, both with showcards for London. Getting ready. Nicola Haffmans (mother agency Ulla and also signed with Why Not Milan) and Catheline (mother agency Vision Brussels and signed with Success in Paris) are the perfect examples of Next's usual beauty criterias matching some strong and personal features or looks. Think of Nicola's incredible energy that just... [Lire la suite]

Marloes: mermaid and marvels

Marloes Horst @ Next (NY) Time to discover another Marloes. We've already seen the sleek cutie from her polas as well as the Prada-girl in motion and both were impressive. Now let's share Rony Shram's vision of Marloes, also signed with Next Paris and Joy  Milan. It's like a swimsuit fairytale where she would embody the modern mermaid. Modern not only in comparison of any previous version of the fish-tail queenie, also modern as these modern faces of the fashion industry. Light-hearted, trash-free sensuality.... [Lire la suite]

TMSRRE part 15: Marloes

Marloes Horst @ Joy (Milan) Last review from Milan shows, a bit late. Let's just say better late than never and better four fantastic polas two weeks later than a less appealing post in time. Marloes impressed us more than we thought and was one of the real surprises at Prada (along with Giedre, Yulia Chumak and Nimuë Smit). The cute Marloes is now the impressive Marloes and looking so expressive (and expensive?) on her polaroids reminds us of some previous favorites that caught our eyes with only snaps. The best way to get... [Lire la suite]

Prada number sixteen

Marloes Horst @ Joy (Milan) We were just away from the screen and the scene for a few hours - time to get our suitcases ready for Paris - and the buzz slipped further from Jil Sander to Prada. Just back and our inbox told us Marloes got the outfit #16 of the show also counting girls like Ymre and Sigrid (just a few post below). We haven't seen the whole collection yet, don't know the whole casting (yet with Giedre within the s/s 09 package too you can expect a few more great surprises). And another great thing is that one... [Lire la suite]
