Happy rainy Monday everybody! Back from quite an inspired weekend and back with one of the only new faces we've introduced this Summer: Lena Hardt, the already highly talked-about newcomer from AM Model Management in Germany that seems to take her first steps quite seriously with this new batch of tests by Eva Baales. No place for hair-controversy, though, it is pure styling and Lena is already back to her brilliant everyday look that has caught so many eyes. If there is one good lesson to take from these new pictures, it's certainly how she can handle a different hairstyle and a different aesthetic in general. Previous visuals were showing her in the most natural way, those put more emphasis on the performance which should be useful as well provided modeling includes a good part of performing or even acting. It can be risky at some stage of a career to blur the image that much but great girls are the ones to take these risks. And work them out, as you can see above and below.

One detail you may notice (or not) from looking at the pictures is that Ms Hardt also had a lot of fun shooting those and even if it's not supposed to have that much impact in theory, in practice it helps quite a lot to enjoy what you're doing. In Lena's case it seems it enabled her to work it out with all her might. Seeing these headshots with red lipstick and pale blue background, it's hard not to feel the power and imagine her cheerfully posing, smiling, smirking and frowning. Offering to our eyes fireworks of expressions while others would have simply given "the required minimum". So, we just can have one hope right now, that she keeps having so much fun shooting her materials. There might be a lot more for her to explore and a lot more for us to see. We keep our eyes tuned for the next round already.
