Did the indie vibe already fade away and got old before maturing? Or was it a well-performed answer from the good-old factories proving in four days their ability to strike back as fast as lightnings? A lack of energy on one side or a new era starting on the other? All we see is that experience works only with wisdom and attacking back on the map needs power to fuel this kind of fire. We're not going to comment more than these abstract lines on Berlin Fashion Week but that's a fact for sure: Modelwerk's weight and influence as the German factory of modeling are stronger than ever. No show report though, only glossy news from who we consider as their most representative rising star of the moment, Anne Sophie Monrad, featured here on the Spring Summer ad campaign of BCBGeneration by the talented David Roemer while she also landed a few colorful pages in current Vogue Portugal. And we still see those last two jobs as first steps, far away from the level she could reach yet remembering us each day she is definitely on her way to it. Keep climbing.
