Chameleon Katia

    

 How many models had so many different hairdos in six months ? Well, I guess there are many. And how many of them went from blonde to blue (!) and from blue to red ? I still think there are a few ones that wear wigs and do it well. This been said, Katia Kokoreva knows how to work out colors and not only wigs. For sure the blue was only for Marc Jacobs f/w 07-08 show though she (as well as Zosia Prominska) managed to make it looks naturally gorgeous, just as she were born with smurf-colored hair. I think Katia's abilities are beyond hairdos. It's something in her attitude, the way she poses on covers and editorials, the way she walks on the runway. The way she can look very "womanly" sometimes and the way she handles with a subtle androgyny, sometimes modern or futuristic looking and also able to bring back some past vibes. She's like a chameleon: she melts well in every atmosphere with an unique look. We've seen it on Amica, Harper's Bazaar or Vogue Italia and now she's playing another colorful role on the cover of Glamour Italia. Red-haired (truly red) with a Karen Elson-esque pose, our Katia seems never tired of suprising us !
