Darya Kurovska @ Supreme (NY)

Darya Kurovska was already among the most eye-catching newbies when she first appeared on Grace Models' development board. Was just a few times before she hit Supreme and added a stylish polaroids sheet to her portfolio in making. Our first runway memories of Darya are pictures (unfortunately we haven't had the opportunity to watch her live yet...) from Costello Tagliapetra at the beginning of NY fashion week. Fierce, raw, rough and pure, somehow. In contrast with the bold green and red patterns on her outfit and the heavy make-up. Next step was called Marc by Marc Jacobs where she had the opportunity to express her potential in a very different way. The tomboyish-looking stunner walking for the girly-inspired collection. We started thinking her catwalk appearances were turning into must-sees. And were probably right. In Milan, besides Sportmax and Max Mara she walked for no less than Marni and... Antonio Marras. Most delightful runway moment finally turned out ot be Ann Demeulemeester in Paris. Another show that never disappoints in terms of casting. Next time we should think twice and start think the Couvent des Cordeliers is not so far by métro.
Darya on pictures is certainly as powerful as Darya in motion. After Christine Gatchalian and Chadwick Tyler (would have been impossible not to imagine Chadwick shooting with Darya), it was big time for Cameron Krone to show his own version of her unique appeal. The way he did yesterday added a new piece to the puzzle. Her expression on the first picture seems to unveil one of her last hidden sides. After the breathtaking Darya, let's meet the charming Darya. And a girl like her might still have some secrets. Waiting to see what's next. Eagerly.

i remeber her from models.com and her test done. she was faunny on the film, she had a translator, but that only made her more nice. she has that tomboy presence and attitude and that just makes her more wildy elegant.
