A true gem from Chicago

18-years-old Nika from Chicago counts among our favorite almost since the very first days of her career and this season saw her starting some serious things on the runways. First in NY where she had enough opportunities to work out various styling and outfits from Marchesa to Hervé Léger's swimsuit, including favorites of ours like Vera Wang or L'Wren Scott (rocking the fancy, fuzzy hairdo). London (she's signed with Independent there) was another important step for her with a completely flawless booking-list. Jaeger, Armand Basi, Christopher Kane and many others. She's made them all hers. Milan didn't see thing slow down for our 5'10"5 darling. Alberta Ferretti, Blugirl, Blumarine or Les Copains were there to keep the rythm. Paris (signed with Elite) came last and gave us a chance to meet her again. Both her sweetness and charisma are pretty unusual. She was clearly among the most outstanding girls at shows like Cacharel, M+F Girbaud or Collette Dinnigan which were all full of the very best new faces in town. Current news include an editorial in november issue of Amica by Dirk Seiden Schwann and you know we love our Amica-girls. Her future seems even brighter but we'll stay silent for tonight, it won't be too long before we'll all know what's next for Nika. A true germ on the rise. So chic...
