Picture this: the recording studio was so far, far away

The recording studio was too far aways so we only wrote track number seven. It has no real sense or maybe that means you're sometimes too far (or too close, even more bizarre) to get the exact strenght and full power of a model. It happens when you haven't met her, when you haven't seen enough pictures or not the right ones, when you can only rely on tests or are fooled by the tough light of some polaroids. It happens even if it shouldn't. It does.

It's hard not to tell that they have potential at first sight. It's hard not to notice and we can't say we didn't see it before the season started. Though, reality was even beyond pictures and truth is that you really get how powerful Dorothea and Hanna (both from Modellink in Sweden by the way) are once you've got them in front of you. When this happened, the season was almost done. We were at Kenzo, one day before the end of Paris fashion week. The end of a world was the birth of a new love, the rise of a vision.

First thing that caught our eyes was (for both of them) the quiet vibe we got from their beauty. Not overwhelming features, nothing that seemed out of this world. Nothing usual, though. Delicate faces that didn't look much bothered by the fashion world around them. Sophisticated but raw. Untouched, unexplored - maybe that's exactly where all begins. And it just started right. And bright. And...

Dorothea walked for Marc Jacobs, BCBG Max Azria, Calvin Klein, Jil Sander, Prada, Chanel and we'll have to forget some to make sure this post doesn't take the whole page. Hanna opened Armand Basi One, Barbara Bui and Dries Van Noten and this is quite enough to get the idea. Both finished their week in Paris with Miu Miu, both were already called outstanding newcomers before the end but it's always nicer with a suitable ending. Flawless till the very last day.

As we said, we though they were special but were far away from their actual level in our expectations. It's not just about their face or their look. It might be something in the attitude and in the lovely contrast between this and that. It might be somewhere between the carefree way they both pose and the limitless commitment in front of the camera. It took us a few seconds only to notice that in backstage at Kenzo. It was obvious. Everything was obvious, everything was clear. We should never forget that the moon shines too.
