Obviously the first show that caught my eyes this season in New York. Nothing overwhelming but nothing unappealing and a fresh touch to begin the season. Australian designer Josh Goot did a fantastic job putting shapes inside the shapes playing with colors lines and zones on the outfits making some asymetrical patterns that redesign the woman body. Short colorful dress with green, yellow, blue waves creating movement on the item, silver tank tops mixed to striped skirts, the most simple white dress you could find spiced-up by a blue shadow on the left side and a totally deconstructed dress are the absolute highlights. Shapes don't always mean volumes or cuts, here it means prints. The casting fits the atmosphere and include a proper number of new faces and rising stars (featured here are Marcelina Sowa, Courtney Smerski, Serafima Vakulenko, Ksenia Kahnovich, Mariya Markina and Carolina Pantoliano). I'm not blown away but have a light smile on my face, seems that this season is beginning the very best way. And sometimes brilliant ideas are better than radical concepts.
