Tomorrow I'm going to get up earlier, there are so many shows to review, so many things to see, so many events happened while I was simply sleeping...
Nicole Miller's new collection seems to be able to make me like cocktail dresses, love the blue one and the emphasis on the shoulders is no stranger to my sudden interest. Colors are overally appealig among the whole show including nice yellows and camels besides the light blue and eye-catching purple (well done with balloon sleves). Prints would probably divide people in two or three categories. Those who hate, those who love (haven't met any yet) and those - like me - who love it combined to some cuts and find it awful with another. Short clean cuts are really necessary to enjoy that kind of print and even the gold belt is welcome in that case (don't worry I've nothing against gold items, still love metallic fabrics but used properly...). The casting ? It's allright, it's OK. Kerstin Mannik in cocktail dresses on catwalks is a must (ask Ralph Lauren), Egle Tvirbutaite's marvelous walk is perfect for the atmosphere, Lily Donaldson fits well and makes the sleeves look gorgeous on her and Cicely is always to die for in yellow.
