second row: s/s 08 runway shots at Costello Tagliapetra, Malandrino, ThreeAsFour and Diane Von Furstenberg.

Edda Petursdottir embodies the diversity among Supreme's models line-up while many people are still thinking there is only one "Supreme look" that they love or hate. I think she embodies even more than many others also because of her different career as many girls from Paul Rowland's agency are beginning in high fashion or alternative magazines while Edda did a lot of catalogue before popping up on major runways and editorials. Though there are many other faces that shows the diversity of the board: what do Timoxa Timoschenko, Alice Gibb, Alana Zimmer or Amber Milam have in common ? Their all specific, one of a kind. Not look-alikes. But this could go on forever, Supreme's choices are discussed quite everywhere...
Back to Edda's own case. I've really begun to love her when she appeared on Zac Posen f/w 07-08 catwalk, was a magical moment. Pale skin, freckles, strong features but a delicate eyes shape and a wonderful presence. Two editorials in V magazine and one in German Elle and she's back on New York runway. I had great expectations - at least I kept my fingers crossed - when I saw her showcard and now she's walking for ThreeAsFour, Costello Tagliapetra, Malandrino, closing Douglas Hannant... and last one to date is Diane Von Furstenberg. What's next ? Europe I hope and then lots of editorial work.
