Fresh news from the press stores. Bought Plastique today, great overall issue, will write a complete review next week. With pictures. Of Sara Emilia Bernat, Cristina Jurach, Isabel Neumair, Feline Visscher and others. New Dealer de Luxe is already out too, with Cristina too. Always a nice magazine. So is Double with Egle Tvirbutaite, I've tell it before now let's wait - just a little - for the pictures. Edda Petursdottir strikes back in Germany, after being featured in september'07 Elle, she's now in Glamour. Cheap ? Maybe but much impressive and there is a point cheap is getting highly interesting. Sure Edda helps. Other features include Sasha Beznosyuk. Fans will love, me too. She's been too rare these days.
Kinga Luk, my beloved Kinga Luk is back in Biba, second time in a row. Better than ever. No, not better as on Maud's picture but her best editorial pics to date. Dramatic. No other word, no matter how much I tell it.
Got Vogue Italia too, love the cover. Sweetness and strength mixed together on Meghan's expression. And to all the people that are still thinking she's only rough and needs more subtlety I'd say she's one of the sweetest models I've met in backstage. It's just that she knows how to express different feelings. Other highlights are Alice Gibb, Alana Zimmer, Serafima Vakulenko, Judith Bedard and many, many more.
International round-up will be much more complete if I add that Bianca O'Brien is in Above Magazine, Anna Nocon is in Madame and Elle Italia's latest issue is really neat. Think Dovile Virsilaite, Elsa Sylvan or Karina Gubanova. Still can't find Doingbird and Androgyny though. Makes me a tad upset. But don't worry, tons of surprises next week. Besides Plastique there will be L'Officiel Paris (Egle Tvirbutaite and Carolina Pantoliano) and French (Cicely Telman and many, many more, so many it will take a whole article to names them all but if I say Angelika Kocheva that might ring a bell).
