We just talked about NY Models' very editorial tastes two posts below. Seems it's never been so true than today as Jana just walked for 3.1 Philip Lim, one of the shows we've been watching the most carefully over the past seasons. We know him (and all the people behind that great work) for and owe him some brilliant castings perfectly matching the mood of his collection. It's all about picking the right faces, the ones pushing the outfits out of a purely presentation-related context to allow them to reach a much more thrilling level. It's all about picking the models who make that exact clothes able to tell you a story. Who opens (and opens new doors...), who wears what. It's beyond any idea of exclusive and sometimes brings the most exclusive, unexpected face. And it brought Jana. We called Giedre the epitome of an editorial girl. We'd better call Jana the epitome of the epitome. Editorial everywhere, including on polas.
