Bo Don. The name is short, efficient and sounds sleek, like a perfect description of Bo's beauty in five letters. With an interesting introduction during Paris Fall 2010 fashion week, booking a few of the most coveted shows in town like Balenciaga, Chloe or Yves Saint Laurent, the latest newbie from Wilma Wakker in The Netherlands to go international started on the right foot. And early editorial signs are beyond positive as well which basically means this post shouldn't be the last time we talk about Bo. Signed with Marilyn in both Paris and New York, she's getting her book built by some of the most exciting photographers of the moment, including Billy Kidd who shot the series we publish today.
To repeat what Marilyn NY stated earlier this week on Twitter, Billy unveiled some of her hidden sides and his work with her shows an appealing palette of expressions and moods in what could be a hide-and-seek theme. Black and white, clear and blurred, expressive and ethereal, the successive morphs of Bo into different characters are another pretty significant aspect of her potential and would make it hard for anyone to find flaws or limits to it. This story is also a good opportunity to take another close look at Billy's work since we followed it for quite a little while already. What striked us most is how he managed to push his skills, inspirations and vision further again. Refining his signature-style to the max, leaving us with high expectations and excitement for the nex pieces of his work. And it proved us again what a powerful model/photographer combo can do for both part of the team.
