Fashion does it Better

Block me, Bust me

Once upon a time, lived a man who wanted to get out of his life, get rid of it, get out of his and this world(s) and knit his own cloud to look from above at the latest news from earth like a scientist looks at a procession of ants and a poet looks at his ten toes. Now, that very same guy would say: freak me out, take me out. If he's craving for an extra dose of late tenderness or for a full shoot of fireballs, I own no clue about it. But he feels some twisted kind of hunger, the kind that squeezes you from stomach to heart to... [Lire la suite]

A Wind of Change

Arizona Muse @ Next Was like two years ago... wait, was exactly two years ago. When we first noticed Arizona Muse, as new face from Next NY. Blonde with brows, right at the tiny border between high fashion and high end commercial. Tiny that didn't look that tiny back then but got thinner and thinner since. It might be one of the reasons behind Arizona's recent breakthrough (think Prada and Yves Saint Laurent campaigns plus Vogue Italia's most recent cover). Might be but not only, we firmly believe the model herself stands behind that... [Lire la suite]

Upside-Down (Balenciaga-Blogging)

Mirte Maas, Patrica Van Der Vliet and Alla Kostromicheva @ Union (London) Union Models is blogging too and if you didn't know about it, take a look and the first of entries of years on their blog. First topics are indeed worth to remember as they are dedicated to the agency's brightest stars: Mirte Maas (also with Women), Alla Kostromicheva (also with Women Direct) and Patricia Van Der Vliet (also with New York Models and Nathalie). Such a gorgeous team... who achieved some big things on glossy paper these day,... [Lire la suite]

Don't Worry, Be Classy

Wanessa Milhomem @ IMG (NY, Paris), Select (London), Elite (Milan) A "relative newcomer to the European circuit" according to Vogue UK , a self-proclaimed "typical Brazilian girl" turned less Brazilian since she works abroad and a huge favorite of ours since her early debuts. Descriptions of Wanessa Milhomem can be as different as possible, the high potential and unique look remain the red thread of it regardless of the point of view. Her rather unusual kind of beauty mostly rely to her uncanny ability to look as sweet as dark, to... [Lire la suite]

Sunniva Stordahl @ Joy (Milan), New York Models (NY) We often call ourselves "mainly focused on new faces" and Sunniva is not exactly a new face. We also have a section on this page called "redhead love" and it would make more sense. There's another reason why this editorial is so special to us, it's not only because it's Vogue and italian Vogue, not only because she's Sunniva and she's great. Not even because she's one of the greatest redhead ever and not because we obviously love mermaids. Photographer is no less than...... [Lire la suite]

Siri Tollerod @ Joy Models (Milan) If you have the opportunity to meet Siri or, at least, to see how she walks and move, you'll probably understand the true reasons of her success. Not just a blond, cute girl with a tiny silhouette. Not just a model that makes the clothes look good on the catwalk. There is something very delicate yet almost odd in the way she moves, walks and... poses. That' what Venetia Scott brilliantly captured for her story in Vogue UK. The theme and the colors are probably nothing new yet for this... [Lire la suite]
