A different way...

... to look at Manish Arora. Without the make-up, the hairdos, the spectacle, here are a few outfit from his f/w 07-08 collection. And it clearly puts the emphasis on the contrast between the rich prints and the precise tailoring that creates such a nice balance which probably is a part of his own mark. If I often say that almost everything is "wearable", these pictures might be nice examples of Manish Arora's wearability for people that don't share my vision of "wearable". Taken from PARK's website, a store based in Vienna, their description of the designers is rather close to my own feelings towards his work: "He is one of the rare designers who perfectly handles to interprete his ethnic roots in a modern and sophisticated way". Note that they also sell items from designers like Hartmann Nordenholz, Peter Pilotto or Christian Wijnants and visite their website.
