There are days we miss our eighties, our childhood or what we think it looked like back then. When it wasn't that odd to be dressed like a bubble gum and when discount stores all had creepy names. The need to escape, you know. The emergency that would normally push you to run but sticks your feet on the ground. Can't move, not even wink. Working in a dark room because the sun shines too bright and summer is already getting on our nerves. Don't know if we want september to knock at our door faster than scheduled or if we'd enjoy a cold and rainy summer. Would love the second option somehow, two months out of time (out of tune as well) and looking like nothing else in a year. Or in a lifetime.

But it's too late to stop it now when the machine is on and even going wild. Ten more days then weeks to think twice about everything. Feeling strange, all seems odd. Then had a look at Patricia's latest editorial and thought this might be how it should always be. Or look like, as all is in the look right here, thanks to photographer Jem Mitchell and make-up artist Alex Box because it's a beauty story and you're supposed to know it from page one on. Aesthetic that can't not provoke any feeling -- either you get it straight ahead or you won't (at all). And just a thought to cheer up before dinner: the series above is taken from Vogue Nippon... August issue. September might be soon, after all.
