Ford's New Stamp

Isabelle Stork @ Ford (NY) Two weeks after the finale, the girl who won a safe spot at Ford NY can already tell if their dreams are becoming reality. At least, they are experiencing model-life right now and for some of them it seems on a good slope already. Swedish sweetie Isabelle Stork is among the lucky ones, watching her book grow day after day: from digital truth (above) to tests able to enhance her potential (check later). Sixteen and 5'10, Isabelle is also the living example of  how Ford's eyes... [Lire la suite]

4D

Sedene, Stephanie, Melissa and Anne Sophie @ d'management (Milan) Drum rolls and heartbeats... here are the latest models to sign with direct-booking boutique in Milan, d'management. And even the number of girls in the package seems just perfect. What do you think of four aces ? La creme de la creme of the current international newbies is right in front of your eyes. Sedene (featured here last November), for example, is already getting an amazing response in New York, gathering the highest hopes around her... [Lire la suite]

Dance and Dedication

Natasha Belobrovik @ Elite (Paris), Ford (NY) and Alice Fadeeva @ Next (Paris) Two FDIB-favorites in one of our beloved french magazine ? This is what we got two days ago during our weekly bookshop-trip. Previous issue of Dedicate offered us an overview of some new faces in Paris (including our Polish lovelies Kinga Lukomska and Malgosia Baclawska) through the eye of photographer Alexandre Brunet. The new one keeps the same level of excitement with a very special combo: Natasha Belobrovik and Alice Fadeeva. Both girls... [Lire la suite]

Made in Germany

Anne Sophie Monrad @ Modelwerk (Hamburg), Ford (NY) Made in Germany. These words often stands for quality, no matter what the topic is. It's well-known, and most of times, well said because truth is german products are often...well, well done. We're not talking about products, though, or if one product is in the spotlight today it might be a service: Modelwerk's precise and precious management. But the real heart of this story, you understood it, is the girls themselves. Made in Germany, then and made in Modelwerk, actually. Anne... [Lire la suite]

Limelight News

Emma Dumont @ Ford (NY) We closed last week with Emma and start this one with her again. Going round but tuned for the future, might be the mood of the day. First thing, we believed it was quite useful and lovely to show how the cute and ethereal Emma can turn into a sophisticated model with a little (and a little only) styling. Sleek black and white allows us to put our finger on another side of her potential while she proved her best asset is definitely this delicate fagile look, which doesn't fade away once seen through another... V like Victories, F like Ford

Emma @ Ford (NY) Okay, it's almost 11pm and we've got headaches and itching eyes. Whatever, who cares. Some news can't wait and tomorrow is too late. Just got one of the most georgeous mail (loved the way it was written too) with one of the most promising girl of these last week. It took us to open it to wake up again and postpone our little rest. Ford's winner from their V magazine contest is worth to stay one more hour under the artificial light. Isn't she delicate and graceful ? Emma is a real ballerina... [Lire la suite]

Two of the FM Kind

Sadie Newman @ FM (London), Ford (NY) Dark hair and pale skin, winning combo ? Seems so, especially when you push both at their extremes. It's not the first an agency gives a try to that look but it has recently reached a very special level at FM, London. Two girls of this kind are seeing their career opportunities growing sky-high while their future looks more promising than ever. Don't want to jinx anything so, let's simply put it that way: development is wonderfully done with major materials. Editorials... [Lire la suite]

Ford Finale in the Baltics: 48 Hours and 5 Winners

Megija Twenty four hours to come and twenty four hours tomorrow to go back to full-time blogging. Fourty eight hours with a lot of action in between. Riga was supposed to be a cold place at this time of the year but we only have hot news. Ford Supermodel of World's finale for Baltic countries took place less than two days ago and the winners are just as impressive as the contest's name. Five girls were selected for the World Finale in Sao Paulo but all the contestants are actually worth a few lines. So, we're going to make it in two... [Lire la suite]

Eight Days to Countdown

Scouting goes from "get discovered by chance at your local shopping-mall" to "be seen, be signed - rush to worlwide events". Usually we're more focused on street-scouting and lucky discoveries, we still enjoy the charms of the good-old way to find new talents. But contests have definitely started to take their own place in our heart as another reliable process of discovering models after attending a couple of them at a small-town level. A good way not to overlook anyone and when they are run by high-profile... [Lire la suite]

The Moon is not Enough

Anne Sophie Monrad @ Modelwerk (Hamburg), Ford (NY) Target high and see what you can get. First advice we could get to anyone. Anne Sophie and her agencies seemed to have high goals and expectations and seem on a good way to them right now. Anne Sophie's face, features and expressions are hard to forget after just one look, they'll be even much harder to ignore after seeing her latest editorial piece (Modelwerk warned us there is some good stuff on its way for her and truth is they were true...) just out in Numéro...
